Other Beaches to Discover?

My wife would like to go to the Caribbean again. We have been to St. Martin twice and I liked that. I walked the beach textile-free on Orient, Long, Red, and Happy Bay. There were occasional supporters of the no tan line crowd.

Are there other islands where people could be bare without the prude-pressure? Let me know. BTW, I am not looking for a nude resort, just a beach where no clothes is no problem.

When in West Florida, I am almost the only guy in a swim bikini (tan-through, of course). The lack of free beaches is not cool.

I'm also curious about the ruins from other's standpoints. When my wife and I were there earlier this year we walked down to the other side of the restaurant with the intention of just going for a walk but it did appear "some things were going on". We were both fully nude and there was a local who was walking around excited and eventually made his way over to us. He was extremely vocal in his compliments to my wife, who is fit and very attractive, and while she was not interested in much further interaction, the longer it went on the more vocal he became. Never aggressive nor threatening but clear in what he was offering. Eventually we moved on, but not before there was a goodbye hug with my wife and some mutual light fondling, all seemed harmless to me at the time as my wife stayed receptive and initiated some contact.

In the end that was it, but I would be curious what other's experiences were? Just curious what else happens, is it relatively safe and respectful, and common?

As for your excursion down the beach, I remember a post a while back about some local "lurkers" behind Papagayo's ruins that were trying to get some activity with women walking in that area. It is a good thing that you were there with her.
That's Pinel Island, and what a great spot. Especially when Orient is windy, Pinel is sheltered and beautiful. The beach service and tables in the water are a bonus!

When we were on the other side of the restaurant, there were probably 3 or 4 couples over there sunbathing, with one couple where there appeared to be an interaction with that gentleman and his wife just ending. Definitely best that I was there, but still felt pretty safe. We saw at least one other gentlemen that appeared to have the same intentions earlier in the day at Perch lite.

Just curious if this is a common thing there or not. I know there have been lurkers at Baie Rouge and Cupecoy in years past but I always assumed they were just enjoying the view, but maybe there was more going on.
We had never gone to Pinel Island. After our last visit, which was in June 2019, we have not revisited SXM. The shutdown due to Covid along with the lack of progress/rebuilding has made us rethink our vacation spending, since we are both on the old "fixed income" cliche.

Unfortunately for reasons above my pay grade, we don't understand how after 7 years there has been no rebuilding of the beach area known as Club O beach. Add to that the fact that on a different blog about SXM there seems to be a growing problem with criminal activity, mostly on the Dutch side, we have decided that we would only go to Orient if it were to be a cruise ship stop.

Hopefully, there will be some movement on rebuilding the best clothing optional beach in the world.

If there hasn't been rebuilding by now, i doubt there ever will be. I mean, they haven't even cleared the rubble, and it has been over seven years. We gave up on it several years ago.

But that doesn't mean the beach, as maintained by Cedrick, isn't a good place to go, because it is. It's just that with dermatological problems caused by my fair skin, I must severely limit the amount of sun my naked body is exposed to.

Speaking of naked bodies, has anyone missed seeing mine? Bella and KelleyGirl have posted some nice images, but they haven't posted the spread shots I am known for. Well, Kelley did post a spread shot, but it was an oblique view.

I just had an idea. I go three times a year for a full nude body scan. Unfortunately, my dermatologist is a female. I would feel better if I were scanned more frequently and by males as well as females. Males bring a different perspective. So what if I posted full nude images for you guys to look at and see if you spot any pre-cancerous lesions? You would even be encouraged to enlarge the images, but only for medical purposes.

Please let me know your thoughts.
