I think most will advise to get all of the walking finished and be home by dark. You really don't want to walk on Orient Beach after dark unless you are in a group. The Club O section is the safest as security is always on patrol.

I think our most fun must do is naked sunrise with mimosas. We usually do on the last day but no reason not to do on others except the getting up part. Orient Beach is the greatest place we have found for this activity.

Christa - thank you for the advise - home by dark. Am I correct in assuming that walking the beach after dark is not advised but walking home via the streets would be OK. As near as I can tell Bikini Beach Bar and La Playa are not very far apart

OBXDay - thank you for the must do tip - we love mimosas in the morning and getting up early is easy for us, in fact natural, despite how late we may have gone to bed, can be a blessing and a pain. Do you buy some champagne and orange juice locally and head down to the beach with your own supply or, are there beach bars that are open that early? This may be easiest accomplished topless on La Playa beach with our own supply most mornings but at least one morning it would be fun to walk down to Club O and enjoy a naked sunrise. Awesome!

We stock up when we get there and bring our own. I don't know if any of the beach bars are open that early, they have changed since the last time we were there. There is a market in the village called Petite Casino. They have a good assortment of wine and food. OJ too.
