Reporting back. The news is not good. It appears he has slipped his leash and is now back in the wild. Couldn't find him anywhere around the tree. Will check again in a day or so to see if he has maybe come back to the Perch for more cheeseburgers. When we checked yesterday afternoon and again this morning, the Perch was closed.

Ahhh! Very disappointing to hear. I wonder if he escaped up the beach to Perdros? We had him tied up pretty tightly in mid April. He was directly visible from the deck of the Perch. I wonder if he just slipped down behind the husks of the tree due to the recent rain? In the meantime, please enjoy some sun and sand for us!

Originally posted by jdcoronado77We searched for him several more times, even looking down into the husks of the tree. No lizard.

Just noticed my post count again; it is now up to over 1900+ from 1200+ a week or so back.

Very disappointed to hear of his disappearance. When we return next spring, we will be bringing his replacement, along with a better leash. As I think about it, I cant imagine a better place to be tied up:-)...so have to believe that there are criminal elements involved in his disappearance. Thanks for the effort, and hope it was in conjunction with a happy hour visit! Enjoy the sun and sand for us! As for posts...yes...we're up well beyond a number that we'd have had the time to produce!:-) Enjoy!
