Originally posted by bluejacket Not officially, but some some do use the Baie Rouge beach in the nude. During the week, there will be more naturists then there are on the weekends. Orient beach at Club Orient is the only legal nude beach on SXM. But there are many beaches where naturists do go nude. Topless is ok at any french beach on SXM.What about topless on the Dutch side? At the Sunset Bar and Grill in Maho, topless women could drink free. Don't know it that is still the rule as I haven't been in several years. If we can be topless in a restaurant, I would think the same would apply at the beaches.
Originally posted by Christa For a number of years, the Sunset BB had an internet camera behind the bar. I doubt the women sitting topless at the bar knew their faces and bare breasts were being broadcast world wide. Would be extremely rare that anyone back home they knew would see them, but still . . . . A safer option would be one of the tables to the side of the camera. We haven't been since about 2013, so I don't know if the camera is still there or not.
One night years ago, maybe 2004, we were there and a woman from Club O was dancing naked. I imagine she was drinking doubly free. She appeared to be a bit under the influence.

On the french side, however, outside of Club O beach, one could be ticketed for complete nudity.
