We are here at St. Martin now for the first time and LOVE Orient Beach. We spent the day on the nude side and it was awesome. Lots of people and 95% were nude which is not something we are used to. We are also looking for other nude beaches we could try while we are here. I've seen Cupecoy, Happy Beach, Baie Rouge, Long Bay and Coralita mentioned. Does anyone have any suggestions about these or other nude beaches on this island ?

There are other beaches where people do go nude and you mentioned some. I think you meant Happy Bay. Cupecoy as well has that reputation. A word of caution however, Orient is the only nude santioned beach on the island and only a small section as you already know. So you do run the risk of being chastised and even having to deal with the gendarmes particularly at Happy Bay on the weekend as that is considered a local beach. Not saying that will happen but it has.

Yes I did mean Happy Bay. I had heard about avoiding the weekends at Happy Bay due to families being more prevalent. From what I have heard on these other beaches if you get off away from the crowds you should be OK ? I guess if in doubt, wear a thong, right ?

Thats pretty much correct. Baie Rouge is ok if you get down the beach a bit and Cupecoy has never had any issue as far as I know. Happy Bay is the only place I have ever seen gendarmes enforce indecent exposure statues save for the odd wayward naturalist on Orient longing for the old days when the whole beach was C/O.
