We were on Orient Beach last week, and the locals were describing the seaweed as the worst they could ever remember. We stayed at Esmeralda and used the nude section at Coco Beach. There were 2 other couples also nude each day, and the rest of the beach mostly topless. Given the seaweed situation, we skinny dipped at our villa pool frequently and took walks to Club O to swim in the ocean there. Club O did have some seaweed up on the beach, but the ocean was beautiful and nearly seaweed free. I think that it is probably due to the reef protecting the Club O Beach.

Also, we did visit Happy Bay one day. Very nice remote beach. We were there nude with about a dozen others going nude. We walked the beach frequently and the others on the beach did not seem to mind our nakenesss. However the 20 or so folks on the catamaran tour that stopped at the beach for about an hour did have eyes as wide as saucers.

Last Christmas at Club O, a catamaran stopped to textiles gawk and take photos. This happened two days in a row. What is with people sometimes?

Last week I noticed on the beach cam that there was a lot of seaweed on the beach by the Perch. Can't remember the time of the day. It may have been in morning before the Kubota came by to clean it. I think it was later in the day, though.
