Strong undertow, especially on north side of the beach near Coco and Waikiki. Another visitor and I pulled a young child from a rip tide yesterday, and today a different person was pulled in as well. Heard from our waiter last night a 65 year old man drowned 2 days ago, but cannot confirm. Not sure why the local government doesn't have some simple way to warn tourists about these conditions. In the US we have 4 color flags. I love St. Martin, hopefully this will get some attention.

95% of the worlds beaches do not have any lifeguards. This would have to create two government agency's just to cover St Martin and we all know how well the governments work in St Martin.
