Wi-Fi Calling is a service for Android and iOS smartphones that gives you the ability to make and receive phone calls over a Wi-Fi connection.
Anybody try it? Does it work in SXM or it's blocked?

Don't expect it to work from Club O, their Wi-Fi runs very slowly.

Not very good reception at the Alamanda. If I tried in the lobby it was spotty and from the room, not worth the frustration.

We use an app called VOIP Stunt. It costs about 1.5 Euro cents a minute to call the states. It's a wifi based system. I would think very similar to what you're trying to use. We've used VOIP Stunt for many years now at Club O. It works great except for around 5:00-8:00pm when internet traffic is the highest. You should not have a problem for the most part.

I am going to try and use skype when I am there. It works great from anywhere in the world I have ever tried it
