Glad you enjoyed your short trip. There are places on VRBO with private pools and balconies suitable for nudity, but they tend to be further away from the beach. Some will tell you and some you have to ask if it's private enough for that.

Most of the units in the far south complex with the two community pools are similar, with the top floors having the best view, and we felt safe enough to hang out sans clothing on the balcony.

All the restaurant's in the Orient village are excellent and are a safe and walkable distance. We like Le Piment the best, although all of them are very good.

Club Fantastico, a nude resort with a pool, is in the hills above the former resort previously known as Club O. It has received good reviews on this board.

Esmeraldo is at the far end of the beach on Cocco Beach. The bungalows have shared pools for nude use if no one objects. Some members on this board would stay no place other than the Es.

In looking at the map, there appears to be a direct route down the mountain to the beach from Fantastico. We have only come in from the other direction–from Orient Village. Looks to be about a 3 minute drive to Club O beach. Somewhere I have a picture taken from the mountain looking down to the beach. I think I posted it in my last trip review. When I finish this message, I will see if I can find it.

Under no circumstances should you rent anything with two wheels. The nearest Level I trauma center is over 500 miles away. The Coast Guard won't fly you there. You will just die in the third world hospital on St. Martin.

All of our memories are relatively mild, but they are good memories.

Yes ours are also relatively tame comparatively. I've heard stories and witnessed a few things. What great memories we have and made there. We still Love going to the beach there though.

Hey sxmbeacher thanks for your suggestions on VRBO and the local restaurants in the village. We are looking at a few vrbo and I just sent them E mails about nudist friendly or not.
Christa, We are not renting a bike even though Cal. L.A. freeways must be at least as bad as St. Martin highways, may be not, I don't know, but it sounds like they don't cruise at 90 with someone driving 3 feet off your rear tail light. The island isn't long enough. Anyway, NO BIKE.
I sent Esmeralda Resort an E mail yesterday regarding nude in the pool. They answered no nudity in the hotel. Not sure what that means. I asked about nudity in the pool. We have a clothing optional resort about an hours drive from where we live and I guess I'm using it as a comparison to the resorts at St. Martin, but now that I think about it, we will have the nude beach there so I guess we can do without being nude in the pool. We haven't warn bathing suits in a pool in years. Guess that means my wife will want a new one. she still looks great in a bikini, and she thinks a small tan line on the bottom is sexy. Speaking of looking great, I did check out the pictures you posted. Like me, your husband is very lucky to be able to enjoy such a beautiful woman. Has anyone heard of a small resort called Jardin d'O, I visited their website today and they advertise as a nudist resort at Orient Bay, 5 units, two hot tubs in two of the rentals, and a community pool. Just wondering if anyone has any info about it. Thanks in advance.
