Nudity on Orient Beach

We stayed at Esmeralda for 10 days in late May. On a Thursday at 1:30 in the afternoon while walking the beach, I paid attention to how many people were on the beach. For the most part it seemed like there weren't enough people to make it worth the beach bars even being open but when I got to Club O, the place was packed. There were twice as many people there (all nude) than the entire rest of Orient.

It seems to me that other beach areas and bars would make a lot more money if they could allow nudity. (see my comments under the thread re: nude section of Coco Beach.)


I walked the beach nude every morning at 7:00 a.m. and on many days there was only one other nude walker until I got to Club O. During the day I would pass 2 or 3 women walking topless. On some days I only saw that many topless in the chairs along the entire beach (excluding Club O).

I just spent 2 weeks at Club O in June and there was never a day when every beach front chair was not full. When I looked down the beach from Pedros it was clear that there were more people on Club O's beach than the rest of Orient. This is great for Club O and maybe the other beach bars should change there policies if they want more business.
